Fundraising 4 Charity Host ""Quiz Night"
Saturday 18 April, 7.30pm start Church
Rooms of St Peter and St Paul Church Ashburnham Road, Northampton.
Doors open from 6.45pm.
There will be 10 rounds, with a hot
supper included in the price of £6.50 per person. Prizes for the
winning team! You can bring your own drinks. Hot drinks and cold non
alcoholic beverages will be on sale, as well sweets and crisps.
If
you would like to attend email f4cevents@hotmail.co.uk to book you and
your team a place. Teams of 2 – 8 people would be ideal. We would like
a team name too!

Rushden & Diamonds FC, kindly allowed 10 volunteers to attend their
Bank Holiday Monday football match to collect from the fans - we
managed to collect £294.00 - kind thanks to Rushden & Diamonds and
their fans - home and away.Asda in Rushden donated 100 tins of
beans for the sponsored bean bath event and also let Alison and her mum
collect more beans from shoppers. There was also a bucket collection
whereby £480.00 was raised, with an additional 44 tins of beans donated.My
husband works for Booker,Wellingborough and they decided their family
fun day would raise funds for Chelsea. On September 6, Booker employees
attended the fun day and helped raise in the region of £2000 - Many
thanks to Booker and their employeesRushden Fire Service
Charity Car Wash, fire fighters and volunteers washed cars from 10am
till 4pm to raise funds for The Fire Benevolent Fund and Cherish
Chelsea Fund. Raising £963.27 in total to be shared between the two.
Thank you very much for all the hard work.Alison Malin and
Louise Smart completed their 8 hour sponsored bean bath event. Monies
are still being collected, but looking in the region of £1499.00. Well
done to them both, for putting up with being sooooooooo cold. Thank you.Kirsty,
best friend of Emma, Chelsea's mum helped to organise and event at The
Band Club Irthlingborough - 20th September. This involved a come and
fetch it darts competition, raffle, quiz and name the rocking horse.
They have raised in the region of £1700.00 Thanks to all involved.Tabletop Sale at Tithe Barn in Wellingborough, Saturday 4 October 2008. Raised
£1338.37 in total. Thanks to all people who made donations, people that
helped on the day and all those that attended the event on the day.
Brilliant job done by all :-) Raunds FC kindly allowed us to collect at one of their matches, Saturday 15 November. We managed to collect in the region of £150. Many thanks to the players, supporters and everyone at Raunds FC.
Elliot Sismey, of
Kettering, had his back waxed by Cheryl at Simply Beauty in Rushden.
Mr Sismey, who works with Chelsea's aunt Sam Knighton at Forces &
Corporate Publishing in Rushden, has collected about £250.00 in
sponsorship. Members of the Rushden Windmill Club hosted a race night, Friday 21 November
The event raised £155.00, thanks to everyone at the Windmill Club for their efforts and everyone who supported their event.
Halloween Collection, Friday 31 October, saw Chelsea's mum and family dress up - See pics, and collected £475.00. Many thanks to the people of Irthlingborough, Higham Ferrers and Rushden, and the landlords of all the pubs that allowed us to collect.
Fancy Dress Disco, Friday 5 Dec, organised by Alison Malin and Pat Weedy raised £740.00. Many thanks to everyone that came, kind donations for raffle prizes and the DJ's and Higham Working Mens Club for helping.
Leanne Aston organised a Christmas Shopping Fayre at Club Diana, on Sunday 7 December. Proceeds from the raffle helped to raised £225.06. Thank you Leanne for you hard work and all those that supported the event. Special thanks to Michelle at Club Diana for offering the club for free :-)
Morrisons allowed us instore to collect for Chelsea and we collected £100.00 in the 2 days we were there. Many thanks to them for this opportunity.
Fundraising 4 Charity held a tabletop sale on Saturday 15 November in Northampton. They managed to raised a fantastic £516.00 for which we are very grateful and pleased. Thank you
David Wills of Grangewood, Northampton and his friend Barry
Peynado, also of Grangewood, raised £1,000 for Chelsea by hosting
quizzes at the Yeoman of England pub in Wootton and the Grange Inn in
Grange Park. We attended a presentation of the cheque and met some very friendly and lovely people. Thank you all very much for your supportJayne Randall of Milton Keynes and a member of our Facebook group for Chelsea raised £207.00 through a sponsored walk and raffle. She has also worked very hard at writing letters on our behalf for raffle prizes and done really well. Thank you so muchLMZF PS3 clan have chosen Chelsea to raise funds for through their website. They have been very generous in raising in excess of £633.00 so far, with additional personal donations from the members of the group. Kindest Regards to you all for being very kind.Fundraising 4 Charity worked extremely hard with their pantomine production of Cinderella, it was a brilliant success and was very funny. The theatre was packed out both nights and was enjoyed by all. They managed to raise £4000 for the appeal and we are so grateful to everyone who made it the success it was. Big thank you to those that supported the event as well by going to see it. Jonathan Furr decided 2 weeks before Christmas he would dress up as Santa and raise funds for Chelsea driving his Stagecoach bus with a collection. He then approached his employer to see if they would match what he had raised, they did more than that. They made it up to £1000 and this is brilliant. So thank you to Jonathan and Stagecoach for their support.On February 16th, an
event was organised by Samantha Horne, owner of Wendleberie Sweets, in
the Swansgate shopping centre, who assembled a team of fundraisers by
asking customers to help out another customer. The team of 35 got together on Monday and raised £650.00 for the Cherish Chelsea Appeal on a sponsored walk around Wellingborough.
